IST - RIGA – HALF DAY TOUR

Arrive at Riga Airport. Upon finalization of immigration process, we meet up with local guide and transfer to city centre for the start of The Riga Walking Tour: Old Riga, Art Nouveau and Central Market districts are three highlights within the city of Riga. On this walking tour, visit all three and hear about the history and cultural heritage of Latvia. Learn about local culture from your guide as you stroll Riga’s scenic streets. Learn about Latvian history and culture from a guide.

Later, lunch will be serve at local restaurant and then enjoy some leisure free time shopping at Riga Central Market, also UNESCO Heritage site and the largest food market in Europe. Check in and rest.

RIGA – GAUJA NATIONAL PARK – PARNU – TALLINN

Breakfast and check out hotel. Start our day by visiting Turaida Castle in Sigulda. Continue to Latvia’s biggest protected valley – the Gauja National Park. Takes the name from the river Gauja, it also a place full with historical and cultural significances, enjoy taking photos at this beautiful park.

Continue journey to Parnu, Estonia’s biggest town which is also known as most popular resorts town for the country. Enjoy seafood lunch here. Continue short sightseeing at Parnu’s medieval town with colorful architecture and shady, tree-lined streets certainly catch the eye of any visitor. Continue our journey to Tallinn for check in and rest.

TALLINN FULL DAY TOUR

Breakfast at hotel and then depart for our first visit, the Jagala waterfall. The waterfall is 30 minutes away and located right on the doorstep of Lahemaa national park which is recognised for its natural beauty. It is the biggest natural waterfall in Estonia and one of the most popular attractions by the locals.

Back to the city, you will visit the key sights in Tallinn Old Town including the Town Hall Square where your guide will tell you the history of the place, show you the Town Hall as well as the oldest pharmacy in Europe. Continue to Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral which is is one of the gems in Tallinn with its beautiful architecture right at the upper part of Old Town. Passing Estonian Parliament allows your guide to explain you the politics and the history of Estonia as well as show the unique building complex. Finally, stop at viewing Point Kohtuotsa, which offers good photo opportunities.

You will enjoy leisure time on your own at the Old Town.

TALLINN – FERRY – HELSINKI TOUR

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Check out and embark on 3 hours ferry transfer from Tallinn to Helsinki.

Upon arrival, direct transfer for the start of our tour. Suomenlinna is a UNESCO-listed sea fortress situated just 20 min with waterbus from the Market place. It is an open-air museum but also a city district with less than 1000 inhabitants. The history begins in 1748 when Finland was part of Sweden and needed a military fortress against the Russian threat. Hear the history and stories about this interesting site including the fortress walls, bastions, dry dock, sandbanks. Jama prayer at Al-Iman Mosque and check in hotel.

HELSINKI – ROVANIEMI – NORTHERN LIGHT TOUR

Breakfast and check out hotel. Enjoy half day city tour where we will see the best of the beautiful city. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with several photo stops with magnificent views. Discover Senate Square, Cathedral, Sibelius Monument, Rock Church, Art Nouveau districts by the seafront and many more. Enjoy free time for shopping at the market and boutiques on the Esplanade Avenue.

Later, transfer to the airport for flight to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland and the ‘Official’ Hometown of Santa Claus, and viewing of the Northern Light. Direct transfer to hotel and rest or you may enjoy walking in the town centre.
Tonight – is your first attempt to see the Northern Light by embarking on the Aurora Hunting Tour. You’ll be transported into the Lappish wilderness. You’ll walk through the snowy landscape to a remote spot on the banks of a beautiful river. This will give you the best chance of catching this most spectacular of nature’s displays, the Lapland Northern Lights.

Learn about the Northern Lights, including how to photograph them, during the journey and set up your camera to watch Aurora Borealis. NOTE: The northern lights are a natural phenomenon hence, they cannot be guaranteed nor surely forecast.

Enjoy full day Rovaniemi tour where first you will visit the Santa Claus Village. During tour you will visit nice souvenir stores, main post office of Santa Claus and will cross the Arctic Circle officially! You will meet Santa Claus. There will also be an opportunity to send postcards home bearing the famous Arctic Circle postmark.

Later, continue to one of Finnish most famous Ice Hotel. The Arctic Snow Hotel and see hotel rooms, ice bar, ice restaurant and ice sauna. Here everything – even tables and glasses are made out of snow and ice! This is something definitely worth seeing! Return to hotel and enjoy free time to explore the city centre and then by the evening, if you are lucky maybe see the Aurora tonight.

ROVANIEMI – KAKSLAUTTANNEN – INARI

Breakfast and check out from hotel. Continue our Lapland adventure up to the north which is known for its unspoiled natural beauty and its rich and unique culture. Upon arrival at Kakslauttanen, enjoy breathtaking husky safari. Warm thermal clothing will be provided and the dogs are a happy, friendly team who like nothing better than showing visitors. Enjoy your speedy sledge adventure! After the ride, you will warm up with some hot coffee and get to learn about the life of a husky dog in Finnish Lapland.

Continue to Inari which is the cultural capital of the north with an unequalled atmosphere and history. You’ll step into the culture of traditional Finnish Lapland and the indigenous Sami people. We stop to take photos at the rugged Lake Inari, which was believed to be the home of Ukko the Overgod by the ancient Laplanders. Here you can immerse yourself in Sami culture and the diversity of Lapland’s natural beauty. Enjoy the Nature Centre of Metsahallitus and the National Museum of the Finnish Sami. Enjoy special King Crab lunch today.

INARI – ALTA

Breakfast and check out. Continue north west and later crossing the border to Finnmark County, Norway’s northernmost county bordering Finland and Russia. Short stop at Karasjok, the Sami capital for Norway, with have strong ties to the Sami culture, a home of the Sami Parliament and Sami Library.

Continue driving to Alta and visit to the Alta Museum - World Heritage Rock Art Centre to see the expositions about the local history of Northern lights and and inside the museum there are various exhibitions, a copious museum shop, and a café with a beautiful view of the Alta fjord.

ALTA – TROMSO – NORTHERN LIGHT SAFARI

Today, drive along the Arctic fjords bound for Tromsø, former starting point of many North Pole expeditions.

Free time before see evening Northern Lights safari.

Today, enjoy a full day tour at the most populated city in Northern Norway. The first stop of our visit is the University Museum, which is renowned for Geology, Geography, Botany and the fascinating Sami culture. Cross the Tromsø bridge and head for the Arctic Cathedral, which we will view from the outside. This splendid cathedral has an ultra-modern architectural style and a shape that recalls a Sami tent, or indeed the tip of an iceberg.

Continue to the City Centre ‘Old Town’ where the largest collection of historical wooden houses lies. In fact, Tromso contains the highest number of old wooden houses in Northern Norway and the oldest house dating from 1789.
Our tour ends with a marvelous Panoramic Cable Car Ride to view the city, the surrounding fjords and mountains from above.

Enjoy downtime by leisurely strolling the downtown souvenir shops or the Nerstranda Shopping Centre.
